In a regulation basketball game there are 150 24 second bites.

In a perfect world, each team would get 75 of those.

Doc’s plan must be to limit the damage by utilizing the full complement of 24 seconds for each of his 75, thus leaving only 75 for the opponent.

If said opponent only shoots 50 % on field goals (leaving out treys, foul shots, and NOT using all the clock----just to make the math easier)

Then said opponent only scores 75 points and avoids Sports Center breathless highlights
