Nebraska vs. Michigan

Great game guys. Wasn't expecting such a slow, hard-fought game. You guys just need one or two more viable scoring options. I know, easier said than done.

 
I'm really proud of how hard these guys are playing. Knowing what they know, that this season is all but a lost cause in a process, Miles has done an excellent job of getting these guys to put forth the effort. Now, will that continue to happen when some bad losses start to pile up? I hope not, obviously.

 
I said at the beginning of the year that my goal for this season is for the kids to play hard, keep trying to improve and HAVE FUN!!!!

This is these guy's chance to at least try to surprise everyone. Situations like last night they had the chance to go as a team against quite possibly one of the best teams in recent years in college football and they played well.

Even though we are losing, I'm enjoying watching them and I'm excited for next year.

 
I know that there's gonna be a couple games this year where Gallegos gets on one of his hot streaks and Nebraska beats a couple teams that they have no business competing with.

Keeping these elite teams 20+ points under their PPG average, is what is fun for me to watch. If we only had a consistent offense, we would be "in" most of these games, rather than only scoring 40 points. Either way, we are excelling for what we have. Miles knows how to work with what he has.

 
I agree. I love watching our defense keep these high flying teams down. That is one thing that Doc was always able to do also. Hopefully, the guys Miles is bringing in can play that defense AND score.

But, also, when we start bringing in more of a scoring lineup, I expect to start playing a more up tempo game and that will also allow the other team more scoring opportunities.
