NEB Montoya vs #6 Iowa St Hall @ 133 lbs

Update: Hall TD, Montoya ESC, 2-1

Update: 2nd period start, Montoya down position.

Update: Hall Stalling, Montoya ESC, 2-2.

Update: Hall TD, Montoya ESC, 4-3.

Update: 3rd period starts, Neutral.

Update: Hall TD, 6-3. (earns RT +1).

Update: Montoya ESC, 6-4.

Final: Hall (+1 RT) beats Montoya, 7-4.

Montoya could not get his offense going. He turned up the pace early in the 3rd and had one great single leg attempt, which was a critical point in the match as he was down 4-3 late. However, Hall was able to whizzer and shuck his way out and ended up behind Montoya for a TD. That sealed the match.

2nd period:

-Kokesh in the down position

-Quick standup and ESC [Kokesh 3-0]

-Kokesh working his low single, Massa with the front headlock defense

NEB Wilson vs #2 Iowa St Moreno @165 lbs

Missed this match because I was watching Kokesh. However, Wilson upsets Moreno 7-5. Wilson was up 6-3 late in the 3rd, but Moreno got a TD and let Wilson ESC to try and close the point gap, too late though.
