This was a fun match up, pitting two South Dakota products and B1G opponents. These two did not meet during the regular season, but this is their second match in post-season championship competition (the match was during the B1G Championship were Kokesh won 2-1). Kokesh was only 6 second of riding time from wrapping this match up, but he dictated the pace in OT and showed why he went undefeated this year.
