Nebrasketball @ Creighton

I grew up in Omaha and I have listened to Gary Sadlemeyer on KFAB pretty much my entire life.  He said it best on Friday morning.  He talked about his respect for the Creighton program but when they play the Huskers there's only one team to cheer for.

Yesterday was awesome.  GBR!

 
As complete of a performance as I cam remember from a Husker team.  We are still a work in progress and have tons of room to grow but I like how we are starting to define roles and actually see growth in games from most of these guys gbr

That's because Ashworth ruined his season trying to draw a BS foul & Creighton really only has two players that matter (him & Kalkbrenner). 

Pops Isaac scored 18 today, but took 20 shots to get there including 2/10 on 3's.  He's always been a volume shooter - he only shoots 35.6% for his career & 32.8% from 3.   He has 895 points on 793 shots (not including FT''s).  On FT's he's184/218.

Early in the season the OWH had multiple stories saying how Creighton had "real" depth this season.  Every team has depth when they are playing Little Sisters of the Poor teams, but what happens when they start playing real teams?

Your first mistake was believing the true blue paper! 😁  I don't know much about the Creighton bench, but they could be young & hopefully will get better.  We have a veteran bench with no attitude.
