9. Michigan (12): The Wolverines were within one possession of being the team of the week and pulling themselves into the chase for first in the Big Ten. They lost to Purdue by one and then shocked Michigan State by winning in East Lansing by 10. This team has loads of room for growth. And once again John Beilein is having a ball creating a winner. The Wolverines host Maryland Monday and then go to Nebraska Thursday and host Rutgers Sunday in a chaotic three-game conference week.

Huskers will have to play MUCH better Thursday than they did Monday.  If they play like they did against Illinois, they will lose by 25.

Michigan and the Illini play different types of defense.  It wasn't that the Huskers played "bad" it is simply what the Illini defense does to teams.  Teams average 19 TO's a game against them and I think NU only had like 10.  If anything they played okay.  

Michigan on the other day will slice you up with spacing.

Maybe shoot better would have been a more accurate way to put it.  They can't air ball wide open 3's and miss dunks against Michigan or it will get ugly.

 
We match up well with Michigan I think. They aren't a great rebounding team and their big man is more of a shooter than a bruiser. This game is yuuuggeee in regards to tourney implications 

 
Like most of my picks regarding NU basketball, I hope you have listened.  I am pretty much pretty all you gamblers money (Okay, not true)

Right now...I will hold of on my pick for this game.  

 
Well, they are 2 games better than I had predicted to this point, so that is good. I have this as a loss but you never know..

we actually match up fairly well w Michigan, as someone stated above they space you out and hit threes, Nebraska defends well in space and inless its the last minute of the game has guarded the three point line pretty good this year. 

We also match up fairly well w Ohio state as we can throw Copeland or roby at bates-diop then palmer or Taylor at Tate. 

we Have a shot vs Michigan but it would be nice to see the skers come out good for once. Last night if anyone caught the Purdue game they were the much better team but they hit those couple early threes n the crowd roared the rest of the first half. Our crowd doesn’t get that chance because most games we shoot like 2-10 in the first five minutes of the game. It would be an excellent time to turn that around
