3 of 20 from deep (just keep chucking it up they're bound to go in someday... right?)

9 of 18 from the line

Illinois had 4 guys in early foul trouble, NU is currently +10 on rebounds, yet still can't keep it close.

More assists, more steals, blocks even, TO even, +9 off rebounds, +11 overall, shooting FT better.  How do you lose by 10 ?

Can somebody explain why, when early-mid 1st half when we're in the bonus and having some luck driving to the rim, we go back to the 5 man weave offense 5 foot above the top of the 3 point arc? Does Miles want to get fired? It makes absolutely no sense.

Illinois shot 9/23 from the free throw line...

But Nebraska outdid them with their 3 ball stats:

3 of 23 for a whopping 13%

(Missed their last 17 threes in a row... Good grief)

I know Miles has pushed more threes because 'more bang for your buck', but doesn't that only count if you make some??

Especially since half of their team is in foul trouble...

Any kind of decent effort would've won. Just free throws alone should've won the game. This was a piss poor effort by our "stars".....had nothing to do with missing Copeland. Borchardt was a stud today.
