Woof, that was tough.  Unfortunately, it appears yesterday was an 8 on the Francon scale.

This was a painful game to watch. We have no answer (nor do most teams lately) for what Iowa does with their offense. Their skill people make them go plus the quickness at which they play. Pack the lane they kill you with threes. Play a tight man to man Garza will eat you up inside.  Plus their defense is quick and takes away open looks. I'll be curious how deep they go in the Big Ten and NCAA tourneys.

Their defense is only quick against slow teams.  It is why when they play teams with quick athletic players they really have a hard time on defense.

They are hot right now though.  The Big Ten Tourney is going to be crazy this year.

Yes, but, I was still frustrated with our offense.  It seemed like they weren't even trying to do the same things that were successful against Rutgers with the cuts to the basket and extra passes.  Maybe it's because Iowa's defense was that good.  But, it sure seemed like they abandoned what worked in the last game.

I'm just glad Teddy Allen wasn't there to screw up all of that sweet offensive flow

They better get us while we are down.  They will be adjusting to us in future years.
