Pretty sad when you care so much about a bet that you bash a player for playing hard until the end of the game. He played well today

He doesn't need strength to bend his knees and block a guy out. He stands straight up every time; it's clear he never had to box anyone out in Class B. 

Correct,  he played against 6' 3" players.  I watched him play hs, I have been totally impressed with him this year.   He is not strong enough & needs to be coached up.

Key plays of the game were the two tip ins with less than a second left on Purdue shot clock. Both times the lead was extended to 2 possessions or more and also provided momentum changes from a possible shot clock violation or the ball going the other way.

Yup. Poor execution at crunch time has been a Hallmark of this team.

What you don't see in the stats is palmer dribbling the clock down and giving the rest of the team last second defended shots.

I wonder if there was a same mentality with Petteway a few years ago? 

To a lesser extent.  That team was more of a Walt vs TP bigger ego show and had a player( Shields) that would actually call people out and try to be a leader on and off the floor when others wouldn’t.

You know that is not going to happen. Come on, be realistic. Quit dogging on Watson. He played a good game. And it takes a good 2-3 seconds to take the ball up the court, there would have been no time on the clock if he shot a 3 and made it. The game was over either way, plain and simple.

I 100% agree it wasn’t going to happen. 

Im not digging on Watson, he plays with great effort and I’ve enjoyed watching him for 4 years. He does have some poor shot selection though.

The buzzer sounded after his layup went through the net. You do the math. There would’ve been time on the clock after a made 3 pointer. It’s very nit picky of me, I admit. Point is, it took us from more than a miracle to actually impossible.
