Verge looked much better in the 2nd half.  I feel like since he has the ball in his hands so much he's really what is going to determine how this team plays.  But for as good as the 3pt shoot was in the Colorado game its looked pretty terrible the last 2.

When your point guard has the ball in his hands that much at crunch time, he needs to be rock solid on free throws.....and yet ??

Well .... we were #321 in the country in 3-point percentage coming into the game.  And got worse.

Fred Hoiberg says many of Nebraska's players have been shooting over 40% from 3-point range in live action during practice.

Tonight we got good verge...and we needed all of it!  Here's hoping we get more of that from him thus year.  When you haven't won much, you better take the ugly wins too...we can learn from this type of win.  GBR
