So...I actually went to the game tonight. First Husker basketball game. Lots of Husker fans. Dang was it rough to watch. We missed so many free throws and basic lay ups.

One of the most impressive things about this team is their total inability to actually get the ball to go through the basket.  I honestly can not remember a team that is so bad at shooting.  That doesn't matter if it's 3s, layups or free throws.  It is absolutely phenomenal how talented they are at getting the ball to actually bounce off of that tiny little rim.

Its funny how they shoot so well then miss the hoop or hit the Board without hitting the rim.

As bad as we shot, if we hit our free throws its a different game.  But I still think we need to shoot at least 40% from 3 to win.

If this group could make a basket we might be pretty decent.  Man I wish our bigs could jump up and dunk a basketball occasionally. We are vertically challenged with our bigs.  Make a few FTs here and there and make some bunnies under the hoop and we could be pretty good.  

This year is not as frustrating as watching all of our talent play last year.  Would like to see that group play under Hoiberg.

Very odd.  They both are playing the diamond head classic here in Honolulu but don’t play each other unless both win, on Sunday.
