First of all, does anybody have any articles/websites they know of (or just general knowledge) of what happened when Texas joined the Big 12? What I mean by this is that I know when Texas joined the Big 12, there were a lot of things that were changed. For example, I know there used to be a program that helped kids get into college that were having issues academically, but that once Texas joined that program was finished. Does anybody have information as to what else was re-constructed upon Texas's arrival?
Second of all, what type of penalties does a University face if they decide to leave a conference to join another? I know there are fees as well as a requirement to provide two years notice, but I don't know what type of fees or any other info.
