Don't know much about him - it's not that helpful to try to Google for "smith" - but ....


 
Good stuff.

Thought I recall him having some regrets with playing because of the concussions and other injuries he endured. Sort of surprised to see him letting his kid play; though, I guess his son is a WR (thanks huskerhill).

Class of 2016, is he walking on? Edit: nevermind... he is. Thanks again, HH.

Maybe the twitter just meant he's attending UNL like his pops.

Neil Smith is certainly a Husker legend and his son ought to be very welcome to join the program and will be a contributor in many ways, whether he is as great athletically as his father or not. If he is half the athlete Neil was, then he is a great addition at any position. GBR

Not sure if he was injured or not in HS but I think I read he had one catch in 2015. Possibly he wasn't starting last year but will this year. Glad to have you in Lincoln young man!
