Netflix & streaming video stuff worth watching

I'm on Season 5 of Son's of Anarchy. Pretty intense so far. I hear the series starts to go down hill at some point but I haven't seen that yet
Not so much that it goes downhill as much as it goes over the top. If you're through 5 and you're still into it, you're fine. I thought it started to improve a bit in season 6.

The only thing that didn't do much for me was the Ireland stuff.

Netflix are mostly garbage movies; one out of ten good movies. My last viewed was Suntan movie. Average movie IMO ....... not good but fair. If you watched it (probably not), the last scene,

Anna character was unconscious or died (inject drug)? In other words, ending scene sucks !

For middle-aged Kostis, life has passed him by. As the newly appointed doctor of a tiny island, Kostis spends a dreary winter alone. By the time summer arrives, though, the island has turned into a thriving, wild vacation spot with nude beaches and crazy parties. When Kostis meets the beautiful and flirty Anna, he falls hard for her and goes out of his way to conquer and impress her. Before long, Kostis is spending nearly all of his time getting drunk, partying hard, and even making out with Anna. What starts as a rediscovery with his lost-long youth, though, slowly turns into an obsession as Kostis is willing to do whatever it takes to keep his Anna. Suntan celebrates the beauty and strength of the youthful body, while simultaneously embracing its inevitable decay. (IMDb source)

Be sure CC options (mostly Greece voices, some English voice). Warning: probably lite X or heavy R ratings

However, I loved Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Better Call Saul and Hell of Wheels series ...... I admit several times for entire series. But House of Cards flat out terrible.

Documents ?? ..... so-so

I've been watching a lot of the stand-up specials recently.

My absolute favorite has been Anthony Jeselnik - Thoughts and Prayers. I didn't have any expectations going in, but the dude f'ing slays.

Jim Jefferies - Freedumb. What can I say? One of the best comics currently working. f'ing hysterical.

Norm Macdonald - Hitler's Dog,Gossip & Trickery was pretty great, but he's probably not for everybody. Personally, I think he's brilliant.

Joe Rogan - Triggered I would file under "pleasantly surprised". I've never been a big fan of Rogan's stand-up, but he really hit his stride with that one.

Also pleasantly surprised by Dana Carvey - Straight White Male, 60. I loved him back in the day but I was expecting it to be terrible. It was actually decent.

Jim Gaffigan - Cinco was alright. Pretty much standard Gaffigan. If you've seen one you've seen them all.

Chris D'Elia - Man on Fire was lame, I thought. Sort of the same schtick as Dane Cook. I don't get it.

John Mulaney - The Comeback Kid didn't do much for me neither. Just wasn't for me, I guess.

Rory Scovel - Tries Stand-up for the First Time. Not bad for a first timer. I would probably say worth the watch.

That's all I can think of right now. Obviously all the Louis CK, Bill Burr, and Dave Chappelle specials are great. Saw some Kinison and Hicks on there too.

The quality of streamable Netflix movies has decreased, in my opinion. They've clearly put more effort into the binge-watching series and documentaries. I don't believe this is a bad strategy in and of itself, but we've taken to renting movies online now instead of searching the streaming services. The HD versions can usually be rented for $5-ish depending on the movie.

Dang that is irritating enhance. I love YouTube for the movie rentals
Me too. I'm able to get around it by using my laptop to Chromecast instead of the phone, but I hope it's supported one day.

You're supposed to hide spoiler information behind spoiler tags, Hooked. He fixed your post accordingly. You should assume everyone hasn't seen the movie/show you're talking about.
