New AD or Head Coach

With the exception of Stille, the rest of the defensive line is what freshman and sophomores with one Junior?  they are going up against 5th year seniors for the most part.  That unit is over-achieving now as they don't get pushed around much by the opposing offensive lines.  sure i would love to see more sacks and hurry ups but the defense as a whole is the only reason were keeping these games close.  Today, the offense was truly offensive and did very little to help their defense out.  The D played fairly well most of the day and just didn't have one more stop in them at the end of the game.  if i was grading then i would give the Defense a B or even a B+.  now the crappy offense gets a D at best.
The D gets a B or B+? Sorry, I disagree with ya there. Minny had a make shift OLine at best and we gave Morgan all day to throw for first downs on third and long plays. That’s where they need to bring some pressure. If they can’t get it with the front four then blitz more.

I don't want Frost to get canned.  Not after this season, anyway. I want him to figure it out.  Give him another year. If the ship isn't noticeably turning in the right direction by midseason next year it will be abundantly obvious to virtually everyone it's time to make a change.
The ship was sailing the right way the second half of season 1.  It's been sinking since.

With the schedule we face next year? Buckle up.

So far under Frost, the team has gotten worse each year. Recruiting has gotten worse. The post game excuses get weirder.

He doesn't have answers and there are no easy fixes. The next Head Coach, probably hired in 2022 or 2023 will have a lot of work to do. The next guy will take years to fix this. If Nebraska is lucky, they'll be competitive at the end of the decade.

Why will it take years to fix if it shouldn't now?

Arizona just fired Sumlin. He's 9-20 after 3yrs.

Frost is 11-20.
ASU beat em like 70-7 so there’s that. We might be a bit more competitive than that. Still, that record Frosty is building looks pretty bad.
You'd think Arizona would be better.  Great weather.  A few good high school players in Arizona with California right next door.  They have advantages Nebraska does not.

Because they don’t want to suck even more by doing that
There's zero chance Monken goes 11-20 with FBS athletes.

I like Frost, but he's too arrogant, and doesn't understand that what he's doing is a recipe for disaster, and has been since '04. Nebraska will NEVER pass the ball back to relevance. We get there with an offensive line and tough running backs. It's the only way.

He has 2 seasons at minimum. What happens this off-season will be make or break for him.

Either Verduzco goes or we better be finding someone who can throw someone open, not miss the broadside of a barn on a wide open receiver.

Fisher has to go (mutually beneficial), not because he doesn’t do his job getting players on campus, but that we can’t get enough of these Florida kids to make it or stick it out. Refine recruiting within the region by finding like minded individuals to compliment your style and reduce the turds in the punch bowl. Reimer’s is an example of short changing your local talent for recruits who blow you off. He’s not an AA, but he’s the best we’ve brought in...as a blue shirt.

The O and D lines are *young* and the LBs need a couple seasons to develop. They need longer WRs - Betts is step closer and needs to trust himself and adjust to the speed of the college game, but still need a QB.

Either ride this out for 2-3 seasons with Frost or it'll be another 4-5 years of rebuild.

If they ever get serious enough to start recruiting pass first dual threats instead of run first dual threats they will
