how can anyone be thrilled about this? we lose the chance at getting bud sasser and we were competing with Washington State for him.. YAY!!

 
Dude thinks he can make plays for us after last weekend. That is just the type of guy we need. You don't necessarily need to be fast. You just need to know how to catch, position yourself, go up after it. Remember, if you breathe on a guy trying to make a catch it's a penalty. Who needs to get open?

 
If NU coaches didn't want him, they could have slow-played him a little or turned down an attempted commitment.

 
He won't see the field early, just like the young receivers we have now don't see the field much. The system is too complicated for young players to see the field early and our coaches don't believe in putting playmakers on the field unless they know 100% of the system.

These two kids are going to be very disappointed when all they are seeing is the bench.

to be honest with you, it is clear this season that we are struggling at the WR position. this guy is a 1 star recruit (i know stars aren't everything when it comes to recruiting), but seriously? we have a serious lack of performance at the position so we go out and get a 1 star to fill one of our biggest needs......
