We're going to be starting some new contests over the next couple days, and who better to run them than our very own resident "everything else" member, Slacker. As a result Slacker has also become our newest Moderator.

Some of the contests will include the following:

-Trivia/Puzzles: Clues will be given to begin piecing together the answer. Slacker will start a trail, and members will ask questions to complete the puzzle. The member who posts the answer to the "mystery" within the thread first will win.

-Create a caption: Slacker will post a picture, and members will have a chance to post their version of the caption -- either describing the event or creating a quote about what the characters are *really* saying. A poll will then be created allowing members to vote on the best one. The member with the highest votes after 1 week will win.

-Sports Trivia also coming soon.

The prize/point system will be announced by Slacker at the beginning of each contest, and member points will be recorded in the main "member point totals" thread pinned at the top of this thread.

Cool idea, congrats Slacker...Moderator uhhhhh the few the proud the stupid....I can't believe you decided to join this crackpot outfit..

 
Thanks Blackshirt, good to be on the team Eric, I feel most comfortable among other crackpots and don't worry Toad, it will be brought.

Ummm... yeah. Dont worry ETR you'll get there. Maybe I'll ask Huskerbob to show you if he ever shows his ugly mug back around here again. ;)

Oh, sure. Next you'll be claiming that Blackshirt never told you about the monthly stipend for Moderators.
