New field turf for 2013

Why is TOM OSBORNE FIELD upside down when viewed from the stands? Seems backwards to me.
TV I'm sure.
I don't think it is for TV at all. I think it is for ease of viewing when in the stadium. You have 100 people standing on each sideline. If the closest one was facing you, like what seems normal, you wouldn't be able to see it because of the players. So they flip them, so you can see the text on the other side of the field with no obstructions.

Yeah, I didn't look close enough at first to see the other side faced as way as well. My correction is also above.

Actually, as long as the "get back coach" is doing his job you would still be able to see them as they purposely placed them outside the personnel box, but I also agree its for vision, not tv.

This is still crazy to me. I wonder how they figured out that was the best way to do it, i.e., sweep that stuff in after the turf is laid.
