new here and had a question

I am in the military right now and am most likely getting out in about 17 months or so, ( trying to be planned lol) Anyways do any of you know a good way to start networking to land a good job since I have benn in 11 years now and only had one job that I held 5 years prior to joining. Needless to say i do not have much experience trying to land a good job. Any and all help you can give would be helpful.

 
If it were up to me, because of your service to our country you'd get a job anywhere you damn well wanted.

What's your job right now in the military? What was your job prior to that?

 
Need some more information to help you out. :dunno The who, what, where, when, and why.

We should be able to point you in a direction.

 
Military transition assistance should be able to point ya in the right direction. There are a lot of companies that hire prior military. Look into Lockheed Martin if you're looking for a job. They have sites all across the US and are a really good company. It comes down to what your profession was while you were enlisted.
