New Issue w/ Zac Bowman!

I just read on Husker Extra that Zac Bowman is out with a Hammy injury! Does anyone have any better info on this????

'Fraid tis true. I seen him pull up on a play after the receiver went out of bounds. Bowman grabbed the back of his left leg.

We all saw it too (on TV). Didn't hear what the latest was though....

Also, did anyone hear what the status of Byford is? Is his a$$ OK from Sed Ellis knocking him on it every play?!?!?

I thought I saw Bowman limping a bit. I definitely saw Green get injured. Probably the same stuff as the Wake game.

I would be seriously worried about Byford's a$$, too.

Bill Callahan said Andy Christensen is out for the 2007 with a "knee" injury. Callahan said Bowman is fine.

Great news on Bowman. On Byford, did he actually get pciked up off his feet on a play? Our watch party could not believe what we had just saw! I haven't watched the game a second time (probably won't) but we could have swore his 300 lb body was up in the air and slammed to the turf. Yuk!

Yes. I can't remember exactly when it happened (because of my fabulous 'Husker Punch' I made, my memory was somewhat lost in the second half) but they replayed it in slow motion 3 or for times. Immediately after the snap, Ellis came up from his stance, popped Byford on the chest with both hands, and Byford flipped onto his back like a turtle. Ellis blew up the running play in the backfield.
