New ranking predictions

Nebraska will be ranked higher than Mizzou. There is no way that they will be higher than us. NO WAY! Im guessing 18th since Auburn lost.

Remember that this is the human polls not the BCS, so I'll bet that more likely than not we'll be ranked higher than Mizzou

And what is your basis on this? I am curious. Do you forget that Missery ranked 25th played against Tech ranked 24th and beat them soundly in their own back yard? So...how do you figure that we go higher then Missery? Keep in mind Missery is now 5-0. Hate to burst your bubble, but Auburn ranked 2 will not fall below us!

Tech turned the ball over FIVE times, including two for TDs.

Tech outgained Mizzou by 150 yards.

Mizzou also has to play A&M and Oklahoma on the road before coming to Lincoln.

Well in the same token Mizzou was ranked below us in these last polls and they were undefeated then....... :dunno I think we are maybe 19th, but probably not any higher........don't really care as long as we keep winning.....

I truly hate to say this, but I'll be surprised if we move - or at least if we move more than one spot. The teams ahead of us that lost won't fall below us.

Here's the real kicker, though. I wouldn't be surprised if the Arkansas Razorbacks aren't place in the Top 25 - and even ahead of the Huskers. They've played three teams that were ranked - USC, Alabama (at the time they played them) and now Auburn. They lost to USC - but that was at the beginning of the year, and voters' memories are short. They beat Alabama, moving them out of the Top 25. And now they've beat Auburn, who was ranked at Number 2. Their only loss was to USC. So, they've played a tougher schedule than the Huskers (at least in terms of number of ranked opponents) and beat two teams that they shouldn't have beaten, based on the rankings.

I hate the hell out of that, if it happens - Arkansas is not as good as the Huskers, despite the above. Too one dimensional at this point. But I wouldn't be surprised...
