If I am not mistaken though isn't the only two polls the BCS uses are the Coaches and the AP polls?

they dropped the ap in favor of the harris interactive poll, iirc. it also still uses some computer polls as well. but the bcs is crap anyway and i try not to pay too much attention to crap.

The AP pulled out of the BCS equation. I have no idea why anyone gives that poll any merit. Sports writers know jack squat.

AP is just full of itself and I don't see how Coaches have time to watch the other teams to be able to come up with rankings. Where we are right now is just about right, we can beat all the teams behind us. The ones in front of us are also beatable but it will take a much better effort then the ones behind us.

Now for the teams that are in front of us, Texas is up next. We can beat them but it will take a good game and very few mistakes.
