What are the chances that Austin, with his leg being a permanent 85%, will be a backup? It looks like, with this new JUCO class, the competition for starting OL spots is going to be fierce.

I think Andy Christiansen could very well win that battle in spring ball if he is able to come back at 100%. I remember hearing that Christiansen was listed above Austin at LG until he was injured and lost for the season.

I remember reading that Austin is as good at 85% then some linemen are at 100%

He is as good as many at 100%, but not as good as AC @ 100%.

Andy was supposedly the best o lineman in camp regardless of position, so I would think that he has the upper hand. Unfortunately, Austin will never be at 100% again, which is sad, because the guys is a great fiery competitor. We shall see I guess. Dont forget about Roark, or alot of the new guys who may have something to say about that starting spot.
