Edgardo Rivera was arrested at the Greyhound bus station in downtown Oklahoma City.

Rivera concealed the black tar heroin by cutting out the bottoms of his shoes, shapping the drug like an insole, and inserting bags of it inside his shoes, police said.

Black tar heroin is mainly produced in Mexico. It is usually injected or smoked, but can also be ground into powder or dissolved in water and snorted, officials said.

The street value of the drug is around $150 a gram, police said.
