Gosh darn it all, I just got this in my email box and was going to post it! +1 for you my friend.
Well, shiftiness doesn't seem to matter nearly as much as being able to follow the blocking while holding onto the ball on a kickoff (proof of that is Paul's TD return vs OSU). Shiftiness matters a lot more on punt returns, where a player needs to be able to create space for himself (see Paul's punt returns vs CU and TU in 2009).Agreed. I think Kinnie has O.K. straight line speed but I don't see him as a shifty or deep play wide receiver. Just doesn't seem fast enough.Actually I thought I heard that Kinnie was a fumble waiting to happen because of the way he carries the ball loosely...and he had that killer drop against Texas. Is Kinnie shifty? I think you need to be as a PR.
I know they practice multiple guys kick off returns each pre-season. So what if some of them aren't experienced at it? It wouldn't be much better than having to hold your breath every time Paul returns a kick for fear of him fumbling it.
This just made me feel really old.Who is the guy where it says kneel? Should I know him?
