Out of curiosity, what do you drive now?

My wife drives a 2003 Durango

I have a 1995 F-150 Lighting which I only drive if there is not a cloud for MILES. My main vehicle is a 2008 F-150 XLT 4x4. My current truck is the first brand new truck I have ever purchased. I traded in my old 2000 Chevy Silverado for my 08 F-150.

What dealership did you go to? H&H Chevy? I dealt with them a few years ago and they were tightwads. Lots of talk, but no action when it comes to the price on the proposed sales agreement, especially if you were trading in a vehicle. They should be more than willing to cut a deal in these times. Rusty Eck Ford advertises quite a bit on deals available, but who knows what it boils down to. Good luck in your quest.

With the lack of customer satisfaction we received this week, we may never buy another new vehicle. If Woodhouse and Eck won't deal then it is a collusion thing. We'll find out this Saturday.

we just bought a hyundai tiburon a couple weeks ago. drove 4 hours from ams ia to topeka. we drove it checked everything out etc. got back to the dealer and talked to them a bit, i said,"what is the lowest price you can do me on this?" he said,"well, since you drove all that way i have to assume that means you are willing to buy the car at the listed price so no i cant go down."

i almost stormed out of the place, but he was right i drove down there knowing that their was a possibility that i would have to pay full price if the car was perfect and it was. i was more than a little irked about the way he handled it, but in the end we walked out with the car we wanted i guess....

Hyundais are really good cars. I bought my wife the Hyundai Entourage van for her and the kids. The deciding factor was the safety rating. The damn thing turns into a giant air bag if it is ever hit. You can never be too careful when it comes to your kids riding in a vehicle.
