New wrinkle for fans to be unveiled - towels for 50th sellout anniversary

I was hoping the surprise would be some sort of kick a$$ flash mob involving players and coaches from both teams.

This will be awesome to see and be apart of on Saturday.... Wondering how many they will make.
I hope a TON! This should be cool.
Hopefully abotu 88,000.
I was hoping they would do the whole stadium. You think they will?
If they arent making enough for everyone, what's the point. The report said there will be a 100 volunteers handing them out. There are 24? gates around the stadium. That's abotu 4 people per gate. As far as cost, they dont have to be anything fancy. They dont need print on them. I personally think the effect at the Wisconsin game was awesome, and to picture that throughout the whole stadium could be extremely distracting for a road offensive unit. I dont understand any negatives to this whatsoever.

I want the black rags all over the stadium for this one. That would be kickass. 100% redout, with black rags.
I really hope that crap doesn't catch on.

The Sea of Red trumps "power towels" every time.
Really? I thought the black flags against Wisconsin were intimidating, and awesome.... It would be a nice addition to the crowd, and wouldn't affect any of our other traditions....
There's nothing intimidating, or awesome, or powerful about "power towels".

I think fans in Pittsburg would strongly disagree!! The "Terrible Towel" is very powerful.

No, sorry, it's really not. I mean, it's a yellow towel being waved around like a cheerleader with a pom-pom. :hmmph

So... anyone who was at the game - how underwhelming were these towels they handed out? Half the people didn't use them, and those who did, you couldn't hardly see them because it was a night game.

Plus these things must be the cheapest pieces of crap I've ever seen. I got a better Chicago Bears towel at Burger King up in Schaumburg a few years ago.
