I was happy with the play calling. I hope Cos throws some more new things at Freeman. With him being young, he hasn't seen it all. Confuse the crap out of him and make him stay in the pocket a couple of seconds longer so the Blackshirts can crush him. GBR!!!!

The last mention I can find of Covey in the Lincoln Journal Star was 8/24/06 when it said he was still sidelined with an injury. A previous article on 8/18/06 said he had turf toe. <_<

ACL out for the year was the last i heard.

I found confirmation on statesman.com that he did tear his ACL the same week as Dillard and Fluellen and is indeed out for the year. Interesting to know the injury info could be found on several gambling sites.
