Who was the other guy to always use that phrase?

Got the impression from his comment on doing it now vs. after the bowl game that while he's not going to force the current coordinators to find new jobs, he would prefer that they did.

 
It shouldn't matter what Osborne thinks of Eichorst's decision. I respect Osborne immensely, but Eichorst doesn't need Tom's approval
But he should listen to Osborne's advice.
Why?
I would also ask this. I have all the respect in the world for Osborne, but he was a coach of a different era. He had success, but his ways to success aren't set in stone. The game changes, rules change, scholarships change... he's incredibly wise at football, but he's not without his own issues.

 
SE f'ing brought it i thought just now... BTN is loaded with coverage....

i think SE brought up a lot of good points that we all have been discussing..... gives me hope....
