Newton Shooting - 29 dead, 22 children

I just watched an interview with the police chief and he said that there was tons of ammunition left behind and there could have been hundreds dead. Thank the lord he capped himself before that happened, but why? I guess that will be the unanswered question. The police chief said they will most likely not interview children to further damage them, but it has me curious why he killed himself when he did, when he had plenty of ammo to take out a few more classrooms.

What I heard was that the police broke through the doors and he seen them, thats when he backed into the room he just came out of shot himself.
