NFL 2023

Fun stat: in KC's 5 losses, 4 of them have come with a blown play by a WR on a go-ahead TD in the 4th quarter.
Wow, that's crazy! Is there any heat on the GM for putting together that group of receivers? Also, that play by Kelce was sick...

And, @Cdog923 and @BigRedBuster, I appreciate you being level headed as Chiefs fans. Many of the "fans" that I've seen have reacted in the other direction, blaming the refs for the call. I just can't understand that perspective in this case. That was a tough loss, but kudos to both of you for your takes on the situation!

I'm a chiefs fan and Mahomes fan.  But, he is just wrong on this.  The dude lined up in the neutral zone and the ref was correct in throwing the flag.

It's the right call, no doubt.

And not in defense of Mahomes, but just as a general annoyance, that same call gets missed multiple times per game in every game on both offenses and defenses.

I can fully understand KC being upset after the loss and jumping to conclusions with the emotions.

But, I just wish sports people like them would then, today, say....hey, after watching the film, I saw that the call was right.

Let's talk about the Chicago Bears.  And their future QB pick.  And how the Bears will once again mess it up.

Chicago Bears are on the clock.... :woo chuckleshuffle

1. Caleb Williams, USC - pass - what?

2. Jayden Daniels, LSU - pass - what??

3. Michael Penix, Wash - pass - what???

4. JJ McCarthy, Michigan - pass - really????

5. Bo Nix, Oregon - hmmm, pass

6. Drake Maye, UNC - He is a wet dream for the NY Giants & New England and all execs that love a QB from Duke, Kentucky or North Carolina that want to get burned again.  Thankfully, the Bears pass (good job!)

7. Shedeur Sanders, Colorado - Not entering - but if he did, Bears pass because he has talent.

8. Jalen Milroe, Alabama - He beat Auburn, so the Bears are focused and excited about that.  And as a Chicago Bears scout, this makes it very, very hard to pass on this alone - but they somehow they pass.....again.

Which leaves the Chicago Bears, studying everything, and willing to take the best quarterback in the 2024 Draft.......

Michael Pratt, Tulane  :hmmph

Even though you cannot go wrong with any of the top 3 listed.  Even #4 or #5 is still a good thing.

Unfortunately, it's the Chicago Bears.

Someday, we the Chigao Bears, will have a good QB again.

Like Vince Evans and Bob Avellini.

And it will make Butkus, Ditka and all of us so proud.  :woo

The NFL is now on top of it, as offsides on the offense got called multiple times yesterday.
