NFL 2023

Ooops!  Gotta fight the good fight.  Seems like the San Fran vs Baltimore Super Bowl is shaping up nicely.  A revenge game.  Only thing missing would be one less Harbaugh, and one less Colin Kirkpatrick.

Go Lions.  Go Bills.  And f#&% it all up  chuckleshuffle

Well Trey Palmer gave credit to Nebraska in his introduction while Lavonte David introduced himself from Fort Scott Community College which is where he got his start during the Bucs vs Lions playoff game.  It would have been cool to see 2 mentions of Nebraska.

I don't think any.  Players will switch what schools they mention from time to time.  Just giving them a little credit.
The thing is that I don't think I have even seen him mention Nebraska's name recently during the introduction's.  It's a good question to ask about the relationship between Nebraska and him bc you just don't know how they are.  You definitely hope it's good but maybe he feels Bo got shafted by Nebraska.

Four really good games this weekend, and IMO, all 4 better teams won. Next weekend will be a real struggle for the road teams. I see home teams winning and a rematch in the SB.

Felt bad for Buffalo NY Bills.  Played really good.  I even ordered 100 wings for the watch party.  Great game.

But Mahomes and the Chiefs defense...................You just tip your cap to them because they just win, especially in post season.  Never count them out!

Srsly their defense this year has been tight.  One of the best in the league.  And they have Mahomes and MaAuto.... Plus Andy Reid.

Having said that.....  I think my dawg aint scarred or worried.

Give me the MVP and the Baltimore at Home.  Was a nice run for the Chiefs.  Lamar got this.   chuckleshuffle

San Fran will probably beat Detroit.  Not because the Lions are bad, but mostly because they are one of the top 2 teams in the NFL.

However, I don't think the Detroit Lions and Dan Campbell won't be prepared to play, and go all lights out.   :)

Not calling an upset here, but I do want to call my shot and pick them.  No matter what tho, SF vs DET is going to be a good game.

Just don't tell coach Campbell that they don't have a shot!

He's awesome and Go Lions!!

Here you go buddy, link is timestamped: https://youtu.be/GsMBFqrM2Ls?t=299

Here's him saying Go Big Red last year https://x.com/Buccaneers/status/1570442328916914176?s=20

Here he is talking about his time at Nebraska just a few years ago https://saturdaytradition.com/nebraska-football/nebraska-great-lavonte-david-talks-opportunity-to-play-in-super-bowl-with-fellow-former-huskers-ndamukong-suh-khalil-davis/

He came back and got his degree in 2021.

His relation with Nebraska is fine, and this isn't a slight against Nebraska, but a gesture of gratitude towards every place that has helped him along the way. He's also had his high school repped in starting lineups before.

I don't get why our fanbase is sometimes so determined to look for slights against us.

I didn’t realize this stat till I heard it on the radio but Josh only completed 2 passes where then all traveled more than 5 yards downfield.   That’s insane for an nfl game but for Josh in particular.  KC defense was pretty good that second half.

Another crazy stat for ya…..Mahomes has played the #1 defense in the league 8 times (not counting week 16 games when a game didn’t matter for playoffs) and Mahomes is 8-0 in those games!   Look for it to be a 9-0 run in those games after Sunday.

Very impressive stat for him and the Walrus. I just don't see them having enough consistent weapons on the outside to put fear in the Ravens. No deep threat, no quick slot type receiver, it's Kelce (who himself has been very inconsistent this year) and a bunch of C-listers at WR. Chefs have a great D, but I think they will get worn out and the Ravens pull away end of third quarter and win by double digits.
