NFL 2024

I think everyone is safe from facing them in the superbowl and the playoffs.

Not if it's 2028 !

I didn't think much of this announcement, but the national sports radio (betting) guys were all over it yesterday, saying this marks the end of great teams and dynastic runs as no one paying this much to a second-tier quarterback will be able to afford a supporting cast.

Man... Harbaugh is killing it with the LA Chargers.  I swear, give him 2 years or 3 and they will be in the AFC championship game.

He flipped a bad SDSU team into winners (San Diego State).  He took a historically bad Stanford football team and made them respectful and winners.  He won at San Fran (got them to the Super Bowl) and after many many years with Michigan, he beat Ohio State the last 3 years in a row, and also won a Natty.  Go ahead and hate on Jim and be sour, which is fine.  But Harbaugh wins a lot of football where ever he goes.

I'm also really inquisitive about the Pitt Steelers.  Especially their QB position and battle with Russ Wilson and Justin Fields.

Wilson got cleaned up and cut his hair and now looks like Derek Jeter.  He looks every bit of 5'11 and 225.  And you know with Pitt and play action, he can thrive in that concept.

Fields grew his hair out and looks every bit 6'3 and also 220.  Chicago wasn't a good fit for him, and although he can be good at times, I wonder if he can read and react on passing plays consistently.

But I think there is a world that both of them can play.  Maybe not in game together (although we will see that).  But each QB brings a different dynamic and purpose to the offense.  Maybe 8 games each....

Deep down I think Russ would have been a great Pitt Steelers QB if he had been on the team 5 years ago.

Can't believe that none of you Bronco fans are talking about the miracle that finally happened.  Yall finally made a change to those ugly, dated uniforms from the 1990's.

The Originals were always classic and shouldn't have been messed with, but I digress.

The new look is clean and fresh.  It's like they finally left the 1990's with their USFL vibe and finally approached the 2000's (hello 2024).

The helmets are different.  They are matte now instead of shiny.  They removed the ugly pipping down the middle of helmet.  They also got rid of the super sized piping on the jersey and made it more subtle on the pants.

I mean, you don't want to look  like the 1990s USFL called,  answer it, and then stick with it forever.  For example....  Yeesh....

And once Again, on behalf of the NFL, welcome to the 2020's and beyond (okay more like 2024 and beyond - but overall, good job Denver Broncos!)

Those uniforms are pretty decent, and certainly miles ahead of their old look which was cool and fresh when they rebranded in (98?) but has felt painfully turn of the century for way way too long. Excited to see them wear their retro alts.

Cowboys will probably get something done with CeeDee Lamb and Dak.  Hopefully it means better success in post season for them.

I don't follow the Cowboys closely. All I know is that Cowboy fans are pissed about something and having bad mojo about this season. Sports talk radio is also roasting Jones and the Boys.

Apparently the same folks were pissed about the same Cowboys underperforming with Dak and Lamb, and now they're worried about losing them.
