NFL 2024

Sounds like Jerry wanted MM back for another year but when discussing contract extension, McCarthy wanted more security (3 or 4 years).  Supposedly the offer was a 2 year extension with one year guaranteed.  MM said "Thanks, but no thanks".  I don't blame MM.

Prime Time to Dallas?  Didn't we say this soon after he got the CU job because his sons would only be there 2 years?

Bigger question....Where will all the CU players go now and will Colorado even have a team?

There will several candidates, including Kellen Moore I'm sure.

Pretty good OC, but a softy as a HC.

Pete is a hands-on guy that's wants a lot of control.  Sounds like he really wants to get back into the league.  Raiders, Bears and possibly Dallas....  I think he's around 73, which is only 10 years younger than Jerry Jones.

Wonder if the Cowboys will interview BC head coach and former Houston Texan Coach Bill O'Brien.  Then I realize, he's practically the same as Mike McCarthy, but without the SB ring.  So I think that would be foolish.

Dan Graziano at ESPN is predicting Ben Johnson, the OC for the Lions, as the next Raiders HC. I'd take either one.

Brady is pretty bad. Example:

Commanders have 10 secs on play clock with 4th and 2 from the ~5.

Brady. “Time out. Time out. Time out. Time out. Time out. Time out.” Penalty is called. Like 10 secs later “Lions had 12 men on the field.”

I didn’t notice they had 12 men on the field so I thought he was commenting on the play clock running out or the fact Washington should take time to talk about the play call. He’s a lot smarter than me at football so he should actually say WTH he’s noticing so I can be enlightened while it’s happening instead of repeating the same 2 words like a cave man.

Brady has been good all year.  It's his first time in the position to articulate live games as an NFL game analyst.  He will only get better.

Meanwhile, NFC North what happened?  Lions, Vikings and Packers all lose their playoff game.

I'm surprised.  That really sucks !
