NFL Home teams wearing road jerseys

What's up with so many NFL teams wearing their road white jerseys at home now? The Cowboys used to be about the only team that did that, but today, so many more do it. Just today, the Texans and the Jags were doing it and normally they don't.

I can see the teams that play in the heat doing it as the white won't make the players as hot.

Early in the season, the Bengals have worn their white jerseys for home games instead of black because of the heat factor.
