NFL Players Gather in Full Force for Spring Game

More than half of Nebraska’s former players currently competing in the National Football League will be on hand for this weekend’s Red-White Spring Game festivities in Lincoln. Twenty-four of Nebraska’s 36 active players are scheduled to be at the game and take part in activities in and around Memorial Stadium on Saturday.

Former Nebraska linebacker Demorrio Williams will clown with ex-teammates, sign autographs and make small talk with fans.

"For them to get that defense to where it's supposed to be, somebody's going to have to step up," said Williams, now No. 2 on the NFL Atlanta Falcons' depth chart at weakside linebacker. "Somebody's going to have to take control and say, ‘Y'all follow me, I can do this.' We just need some guys out there who are going to get things going. You know what I'm saying?

"We need some guys with some attitude. I mean, let's pick this up now. Right now, everybody's kind of counting the Huskers out because of the season they had (in 2004)."

looking at the photo, I see that a few people wore their green. I am glad the majority of the fans refused to do the green thing. Nice photo!!!!!
