No idea what time the game is going to be but my guess is that it won't be nationally televised.
If this is true i would think they would try to get it on pay-per-view and those games are usually in the late afternoon-night.
If it isn't televised at all I would guess a noon start or so.
If our coaches had their way all the games would be in the late-afternoon or night because that give the best chance to get recruits to come in for visits.

Not necessarily a tailgating area for the Colonels, but Huskerboard always has a nice get together and fans of any team are welcome! There will be more info as we get a little closer to game time.Sept. 9,2006....any idea what time gametime is?? how about tailgating area for the COLONELS??

It will probably be a night game actually. Better for recruiting and fans, and we have no television contract to uphold. As far as tailgaiting, there are tailgating spots in the baseball stadium parking lot. Those are probably the easiest to get and the most convienent.

Isnt this game around the same time as State Fair? I remember a few years back that the State Fair was asking for night games because of the attendence being down.
plus it can be hot as hell in the stadium at that time of year.

night games in the late summer are better imo.. it cools down during the night and it lowers the risk of athletes becoming dehydrated, cramps from dehydration, and other heat-related health risks.. dont forget about the kid that played for Mizery who died last year because they were too stupid to take him across the street to the hospital...
