Nick Swisher Field (The Horseshoe)

Anyone else watch the Indiana/OSU game and notice the shiny new field at the Shoe? Named after current New York Yankee and former OSU outfielder Nick Swisher. Didnt catch how much he dropped on it, but i just think it would be cool to have such a high profile stadium's field be named after me. Dude's a pretty cool cat. Never would have guessed he went to Ohio State. Would have pegged him more for a Pac 12 type guy.

Ohio St. has a pretty nice stadium. They have held the conference tournament there the past 3 seasons.

I would like to see it moved to a neutral site though. TD in Omaha would get the biggest crowds, but Victory Field in Indy would be the most central location.

Was put in prior to the 2007 season.

Makes me wonder what all the turf science majors moved on to after they put that stuff in. I prefer the real stuff, though the newer synthetic turfs do make the game easier on you once your knees are shot....
