Night Game at College Station

Please.....if you want to be a Top 10 team and considered a national power, you have to be able to win on the road no matter the time. (Don't get me wrong, I think it will be more hostile at night, but come on)

Agreed, and the Kansas State game was a relatively hostile environment played at ...gasp!! NIGHT! I'm no more worried myself, which since I actually typed this out on a forum probably means that it will come back to bite me and we will struggle. <_<

If I may ask...Why? It's the name of the game, the nature of the beast. A good football team can walk into any senario and play ball. If we are healthy I see no problems with where and what time we play. After saying that we are so damn inconsistent :ahhhhhhhh

Well let me just put it this way. If you were texas, would you rather have played Nebraska this year at 1130 or 730? I agree about the good football team and your other points. But the hostility and electricity increase ALOT when the sun goes down.

One thing about this team though is that as the hostility level goes up, so does our effort! Let's hope that stays true, we'll likely need to play a very solid game in College Station.

 
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Game Day is at College Station that weekend if we both win this weekend. The only other game I can see that is better or as good as ours if the Ohio State/Iowa game but Game Day will be at Ohio State this weekend so I'm not sure they would go to the same school two weeks in a row. Also, we are the night game, most likely on ABC, and they like to go to the ABC night game.

or Arkansas at Mississippi State......think of all the great stories of Cam Newton and Cowbells

They were at a 2:30 game last week and will be this week as well.... just sayin...

Right, but they are at Ohio State this weekend and the only other game that I could see them going to besides ours the following weekend would be Ohio State at Iowa. Just don't see them going to the same team twice in a row. Who knows though. :D

 
I'm not sure I am thrilled about a night game...however it will be warmer than a night game at home! I'll be there and SO EXCITED to be going!!!! I'll be looking for other Huskers for some tailgating pre-game!!

 
well last time we played at College Station at night we won so I don't think it really matters. Yes I would agree intensity goes up with a night game but like some posters said if we want to be at the top we need to win in big game situations. Just means all the more if we win this one then. We're on the Big 12 tour might as well leave our mark on College Station as well. GO BIG RED!!!!!
