Niles Paul has been fined $20,000 for a helmet to helmet hit on a Rams player who was waiting to field a punt.

Yea, he led with his helmet, but he did lower it some to aim for his chest. He does deserve to be fined, but $20k sounds a little steep for that hit.

Too bad...he gets down a bit lower and he timed it perfect. Always feel bad for punt returners. Just standing their like deer in the healights unable to move until that ball touches them...

There may have been contact, but it didn't look to me like he was intentionally leading with his helmet. Shouldn't have been a fine.
