Nebraska senior wide receiver Niles Paul is doing community service after pleading guilty to MIP for an incident last May.
The 20-year-old requested it in lieu of the $400 fine County Judge Jean Lovell gave him June 25, the day he entered his plea for the incident May 28.

That day at 1:23 a.m., a Lincoln police officer on bike patrol cited Paul on suspicion of possession of alcohol by a minor and urinating in public after spotting him on Centennial Mall just off O Street. His blood-alcohol level tested .104 percent.

In exchange for his plea to MIP, the City Attorneys Office dismissed the second charge.

Paul, who will be 21 in August, was suspended in spring 2009 following an April arrest for driving under the influence. In that case, Paul pleaded guilty to reckless driving and got a $150 fine and went to pre-trial diversion on an MIP charge.

Has there been anything formally announced as to whether he'll receive a suspension or anything this season?
Havent heard anything offically has regards of suspension. But this isnt his first run in with the law regarding alcohol. I expect Bo to lightly throw the book at him and make him sit 1 or 2 games. He deserves it, IMO.

Deserves some kind of punishment, maybe a game, hate to hurt his possible pro status, better be pretty low key the rest of the year.

I trust this guy will make the best decision on alcohol abuse

What will Paul's community service be? Cleaning public restrooms?
