No break away threat

One thing that has just bothered the hell out of me is the lack of threats. We have no player on the team that can take a slant patern, juke a plyer or two and be gone for a 45 yard touchdown. Anyone else noticec that?? The only reason LeFlore got a long TD was on a blown coverage. But what about a 10yard out and bust it for 50. This is what this offense needs and we will get this next year. Mark my words. :)

who?I think the same wr's play next year that are this year.

 
Fluellen could be a break away threat but he is not a great route runner. He needs to improve in this area before I would consider calling him a break away threat.

This is a thread that simply needs to be revisited. We had guys tripping over there feet and dropped passes. No one can take it the distance, as for Bernards comment, I thinking of recruits coming next year

 
One thing that hurts is there is no go to guy. Pilkington has stone hands now for some reason. Fluellen has got to be out there only because he is fast. Le Flore and Nunn are decent 2nd and 3rd receivers, but there is no clear #1 target to throw to.

 
Did anybody else notice the speed of both Okie St and Texas? There is a big difference from what we have. College football is all about speed and we don't have that.

 
I agree. When we were winning championship we had speed. Now we do not have that kind of speed and it makes us an inferior team.

A freshman is going to come in and be god next year? Bowman? Doubtful.
