How can a coach preach this to their players when on your most pivotal offensive drives you call plays that are full of charmin soft fear?

Frost cost us the game. Again.

He absolutely gift wrapped Iowa a perfect chance to win. Absolutely unfathomable, inexcusable, and unbelievable. 

How. HOW is that how you manage those last two drives, and specifically that last 2nd and 3rd down? A 12 year old playing Madden would have managed that situation better than Frost did. Jesus f#&%ing christ.

His culture he complains about sux.  And it starts with him.....Culture starts at the top.  Mismanaged RS's, crappy play calls, playing for OT......He wants the culture to change, look in the mirror..

If HCSF was playing for overtime why is he calling plays to the sidelines and why not just run the clock out..??  Iowa had no time outs..  and what would make HCSF think that we could win in OT..??   No attempt to even TRY to win this game straight out by HCSF.... 

 
The optimist in means thinks he’s protecting Martinez at all costs.  He wanted to get through the season and the QB race is now wide open.  Martinez now has to go through the Spring and likely fall.  Had SF pulled him two games ago (Which May have made sense), Luke loses a red shirt and Martinez May transfer.

Im probably overthinking this, but there has to be some logic to letting Martinez boat anchor the offense.

The offense this year, especially the second half of season was limited by poor QB play.

edit:  Look for AM and Luke to be co-number 1 coming out of Spring.  Or something like “AM is our guy, but Luke is doing great things”.

Scott Frost is Little Danny Martin with his cap gun (his coaching prowess) against The Blob (the Big Ten conference). 

Perhaps he'll get pulled away by an adult and the town will be saved by some guys in charge who have real weapons. 

Kidding aside, my biggest gripe with  him is his narrow focus:  the offense only.  He doesn't seem to notice much else.  And he's, of course, here in the Big Ten, unlike a few years in the AAC, not up to the job.  It seems.

After watching this season it is apparent this coaching staff isn't playing 4-D chess. It really appears that Frost believes AM is our best option somehow.

 
As it relates to AM, he was the one "get" Frost wanted from the jump. As soon as he was hired, that was his first stop.  IIRC, he flew out there with Verduzco to make sure AM was coming.  If Frost were to "turn his back" in AM it means he missed,  It means he failed.  Frost seems to proud to admit that IMHO.............I still think we will hear that AM is getting shoulder surgery in the near future......And that has impacted him.  Maybe as some have alluded, AM wants to prove he is a pocket passer and practices Frost's system, but always looks for the "pass" option.  Maybe he feels the heat from Luke or Noah and knows if he got hurt for an extended period of time he would lose his position....

Bottom line, Frost does not practice what he preaches..........
