no redshirts to be pulled

Anyone know why they could play Fisher in the first game and then redshirt him? Are they assuming he'll get a medical or what?

ok and sorry to hyjack this thread but what does that do for accademics. I mean usually you only need 4 years to graduate not 5.
however, if they speed through their classes and get their degree sooner... they can take post-graduate classes and work towards a better degree.... FREE.
There are some gifted students out there as well. I remember a player for the Oklahoma Sooners years ago that had finished his bachelors by his sophomore year of eligibility. He was working on his Masters his "junior year" and his doctorate his "senior year".

Will Fisher get a medical redshirt? "dinged up" sounds very unlike "out for the year."

Also, I noticed on the TTU game report that Kyler Reed participated. Wait, isn't he a true freshman?...or is he a redshirt freshman already.
That's what I thought about Fisher when I read that as well.

Kyler Reed is a true freshman.
