How big of an affect do you guys think that John Blake did have of their recruiting class? He was there for just a month, right? Would he have helped with two or three? five? ten? I have no idea, maybe he was the finisher on a couple that were boarder line before he got there.

Blake was already in touch with many of the top DTs in the country and 2 happen to sign with North Carolina. Hmmmm....

I know there was one guy who flat out said it...I signed with UNC because of John Blake

Almost end of June and the Heels have only one 2008 commit. Does anyone else find this surprising, especially in view of NC’s new-and-improved staff?

Yes, wow, didn't know that. Especially now because kids are committing quicker than ever. Also teams that usually what till the end to offer and get commits (FSU or USC come to mind) are jumping on a few commits.
