In the Deed the Glory
All-Conference
I am VERY worried about our defense in this game. We have played terribly against spread teams this year, I am not confident the defense can stop this team from going up and down the field all day long.
Was about to say the same thing, but they are in the top half of the conference in scoring and total offense. Maybe those figures are skewed a bit because of the OT games. It also shows how terrible Big Ten offenses have been this year.In regulation against PSU, Iowa, and MSU they scored 7, 17, 17, respectively. Against Wisconsin, they averaged less than a yard a rush and were held to 244 total yards. This is just another terrible BIG TEN offense.

I'm interested to see how Northwestern defense goes against NU's offense. I fully expect NW to not worry too much about our run game, and mix up zone coverages to try and confuse Lee. Tanner had a few balls that were close to being picked against Purdue, and if NW is playing more coverage this week, they may get a couple picks this week.
No comment, I misunderstood your post.In regulation against PSU, Iowa, and MSU they scored 7, 17, 17, respectively. Against Wisconsin, they averaged less than a yard a rush and were held to 244 total yards. This is just another terrible BIG TEN offense.
Thanks for that stat.Skewed is putting it mildly. They're 102nd nationally in yards per play.
And they allowed over 400+ yards passing to MSU. Maybe they will realize it's not the best thing to do with their secondary.NW played a lot of man coverage against MSU last week.
Lee is probably due and it would make sense to recycle an old way to disappoint. Let's hope they aren't pick 6.I'm interested to see how Northwestern defense goes against NU's offense. 59 and cloudy.....7mph wind.......perfect football weather.MichiganDad3 said:What is the weather forecast? Langs is in all pass mode now. Some wind and rain, and we could end up getting blown out.
