Northwestern stole our signals - Martinez

Several teams using a sideline signals via big poster which displayed a weird faces or scenery pictures, mascots, strange words, etc.

What's the purpose? I don't get it.

That's an inspirational poster for Oregon's uniform design.
LOL...yeah that's their "mood board"
I think I actually get what these boards are supposed to do. If you look at the poster, there are four images. I think these images are telling each group how to line up in terms of formation. One is for the WRs, another for the TE(s), another for the O-Line, and another for the RB(s). Meanwhile, the actual play call is being hand signaled to the QB. This way there is less to hand signal in and less for the QB to have to try to communicate to the players. He can then call simple plays and sight adjustments at the line and get the ball snapped quick. When you think about it that way, its pretty ingenious.

Yeah integrity is for losers. I't's all about that W baby. We should really work on cheating harder. If we don't get caught, great, but even if we do get caught apparently nobody really cares. We'll just say it's a lame excuse if it's ever brought up. Maybe we can take a page out of the New England Patriot's playbook and get a spy team out there to video tape upcoming opponents practices, just in case we can't steal their play calls during the game. I'd be really upset with Bo if he didn't spend time during the week coaching his team on stealing plays and other dirty tactics, because when it comes down to it all that matters is winning

Another issue with this was raised by Damon Benning on 1620 yesterday: Martinez really shouldn't be talking about this. There are things that should be kept in house. Not the first time Martinez has put his foot in his mouth.

Who cares if this is kept in house? It's not gonna make a bit of difference come Saturday. Sounds like people are scrounging for reasons to bag on Martinez.
