Northwestern (the Nemesis)...

This will be a nail biter. Well for husker and northwestern fans that is. i'm sure the rest of the neutral fans watching are laughing. Over/Under was 116. Vegas is basically giving out free money.
Or perhaps they know something we don't....
it ended up being a lot closer.
Much closer than I expected as well. I would have been all over the Under ... and sweating the last few minutes.

Against a team that just throttled a pair of top 25 teams, our defense was pretty darn impressive.........

That was an awesome game to be at... Still have a few bones to pick with the crowd... It was fuller than expected, but the crowd was out of it for large moments.

I am being picky, but if fans really want to see this team get great, we need th Bob to be packed and LOUD.

Still an awesome game. Talley played great. Gallegos woke up in the corner.. and Ubel did a nice job.

This team will be fun to watch in the future.

Serious?? Our bball team has been so bad for so long they are lucky to get as many people to the games as they do. If they start winning and keep showing they can be competitive things will get better especially next year with the players we will have playing. The crowd coming back isnt gonna happen right away. If they prove themselves consistently it will happen but way too early to be baggin on fans with crap we've had to watch for 10+ years.

I'm going to have to go with CN Red on this one. Nearly 9,000 to watch two teams near the bottom of the conference isn't too bad.

Am i being picky?--Yes, dont deny that... But i am just saying.. Nebrasketball is trying to turn a corner, and Miles is getting in front of recruits like we have never seen.

The big question is what comes first.. the fan support than the wins, or the wins than fan support?

I think fan support can make winning easier.

I'm assuming these numbers are from last year but we were apparently #40 in attendance. I'd say that's pretty good considering we were not exactly a Top 40 team.

The crowd will come back as we add top line recruits & win (chicken & Egg thing here). I don't think it will take too long. I think the crowd will be really good going into the new arena.

I liked Dylan's comments at the PC after the game. Paraphrasing - On offense coach wants us to attack, attack, attack. Stay aggressive on offense. This is a philosophy that will generate excitement. They just need to get a few more consistent scorers in the program. The kids coming in will help that.

Also if they get some additional good rebounders with the last commits, Petteway is really good on the break.

I am a little shocked that we averaged 10,000+ a game last year... That being said some schools below us have smaller arenas: Duke, Villanova, Butler.
