Northwestern (the Nemesis)...

Our fan support for bball is really good for what we've had to watch. As we get better players and have better teams fan numbers will jump quickly. Also the new arena will help. Many people will go to the games just for new experience and they will see our team is exciting and will come back regularly. If they sell alcohol that will help alot, just ask creighton. Creighton wouldnt get near the numbers they do without beer.

This is true.. Fan support increases with arena.. the product is going to be better next year too.

I attend 3-4 games a year

The crowds are reasonably sized for the amount of success the basketball program has had

However they are pretty passive and leave early even in tight games

I will add the bball setup is kind of a joke

If you want to pay for your ticket via credit card you have ONE place you can do it AND it takes forever, they key it in and you wait to see if the card was approved. That is ancient technology and simply not worth waiting in line for- a joke, I walked away from a game last year because of it

Im in business, it takes NOTHING to do a wireless credit card transaction- you can set it up for next to nothing

The 2 open kiosks DONT take credit cards ?????

Of course only 1 ATM machine in the place- usually a good 10 minute wait to get to the front of that line

Not fan friendly at all

The parking is awful as well

That's in. I'm going to insist we get a new stadium before I go to any more games.

This is very frustrating... not enough where i wont go to the game, but I park on campus side(usually at Harper... fun fact, you can park there for free on weekends and easier to get out without the congestion)

The new stadium should fix some of this!

The one single LONG line for the credit card transactions are a joke

One little old lady takes your card- goes into the back, then comes back with it for you a couple minutes later

Then you wait like you are waiting for a burger at Burger King until the order gets proccessed as you stand to the side

Its silly and ridiculous in 2013 and can be solved VERY easily in 1 day, no excuse for it- reminded me of a first time youth basketball tournament run by the CYO, not a multimillion dollar DI college basketball program where Im paying $20+ per ticket. I didnt have $80 in may wallet for 4 tickets, so I had to do the 3rd world stand in line thing.

The price for 3 online terminals would be less than $100 per month

I guess they need to save $400 for the season by making everyone stand in long lines to get back in the black- really bad business operation/decision

For me- MUCH easier to watch on TV and not venture out into the cold

In todays world, there are many entertainment options

If the University wants to attract and retain fans, they have to make the games fan friendly- the NU basketball operation has a lot of room for improvement- some of which could be solved in a day with mimimal expense

Credit Card readers in the 2 ticket kiosks and a second ATM machine in Devaney

I am one of those "take action" guys. So i emailed the University through Huskers.com(yelled at that mean ocean) about only being able to use one area.

I highly doubt anything will happen, but suggest others do the same. They will need to change it for volleyball, so maybe they will just change it then?

Doubt it will be an issue at the new arena.

Cant wait to be able to walk around the whole (outside)arena easily unlike with the bob, which is difficult to do so.
