I guess he went off on ref's saying fword about them on the radio, don't think he knew he was on air.

Guess he takes after his head coach with that language.

Ah so saying a few bad words makes a man less of a man? It's called emotions! What is he supposed to say? "I think we moved around really well today"....We all have heard that song and dance before!

I agree, Im glad he's upset about losing the game. I don't think it was the officials fault for us losing for one. I certianly don't think the coaches should be blaming them and for two I don't think that language is to classy for being in his position.

for how upset i am about the whole game the calls stand out right now, but what i have always said is that refs should never be the reason a team loses a game. if it all went good for the huskers, they would have had the game all wrapped up... the huskers lost the game 2day, not the refs, but the calls are just obvious, something needs to be done because i know that this isnt the only group and the only conference it is happenin in.

i was listenin to callahan just now... and it just seems like ive heard the same thing from him over the past few weeks... we have great fight, and i am proud of our team. i am glad that we came back, but we really didnt come back to win the game. we all knew that they wanted to get out of the gate quick and they spent all week dwellin on it... well it didnt work... hopefully it will next week

That's funny considering how much you loved Pelini and his crap he pulled on Snyder. Or his curse infested act in the Bowl Game.

Whatever dude.

I'm sure McBride or the Bobfather never said the "F" word. Or cursed out the refs.

If he knew he was on the air and said it that's one thing. It sounds to me like he didn't know.

I guess that makes me a terrible fan .I let a few of them go. It is ridiculous. If it takes a few F bombs to get the big 12 to realise there is a problem.Let them fly.

i think it shows heart... and that is what willed the team back in the game. im sure if he was out there playin he would have tried to hold a block for a few more seconds than our o-line

Well if he's cursing, he's wrong and I agree completely with bernard. Kind of like in Ocean's eleven, "In my casino's, someones always watching." In Nebraska football, someones always watching and listening.

Norvell speaking out is great news to me. I posted earlier about how I wanted to see a coach do this (I guess I should have read about this first). It doesn't bother me at all that he's upset about this. Who isn't? When 99.9% of fans are saying the same things at home why isn't he allowed to say it? As for Callahan saying the same things after games... I highly doubt he's saying the same when he's with the team. He's not going to bash the team through the media and I really like the way he handles post game interviews. Always the optomist.

u could tell callahan was pissed after the game... his voice went like 3 times higher wen he started to talk bout the officials (or not talk bout the officials)

Something along these lines was spoken:

"I know we can't talk about the officials, but they are the worst friggin' officials in the world"

"Aw f*ck 'em"

"Lead the nation in sacks and we can't get a f*ckin' holding call... Can't BUY a holding call."

He's right, but he's going to get in trouble.

To say that KNOWINGLY on radio is wrong, and he should be reprimanded if done so.

To say that in PRIVATE, well, thats his opinion, and he is entitled to it. I would say that most people agree with his assessment of the Refs.

Hell, I think what he said is funny

I cringe every time I see that crew of officials doing our game. Coach C. will start getting those calls soon. He needs a little more time in the conference. He needs to shake up some of these officials a little now, let them know hes serious about bring this program back to the top of college football. He was right on those holding calls, some holds were blatant. Two of them on O.U. last t/d run. First one at the line of scrimmage.

This team won't give up thou, I love their heart.

GBR!!!!
